AIEP Host Families Halloween/Community Service Party Draws Donations

October 31, 2017

Witches, cats, princesses and KFC’s Colonel Sanders were just a few costumes worn by international students at the first annual AIEP Host Families Halloween/Community Service party held at the Chase Collegiate School in Waterbury, CT.

Students brought in over 1,000 non-perishable food items and donated them to the St. Vincent de Paul Shelter in Waterbury. AIEP Host Families also presented a $250 check.

Over 200 students in the program studying at private middle and local high schools throughout CT attended the event. Students all from China experienced a traditional Halloween party.
